日本に住みたい (I want to live in Japan) a mantra I repeat to myself, on those days when London no longer draws me in. / But, midway through Japanese practice, my माताजी (mata-ji) gently raps on the door, and leaves a plate of samosas and a warm mug of おちゃ (Ochya) at the the edge of my desk, / two Asian delights, their smoke intertwining in the moonlight and there in the overlap I find myself, at home, / my home.

PM is British-Indian, queer, spoken word poet, who will literally write about anything. If you’ve breathed around her, chances are you’re in a poem and she’s performed it already. Currently, she’s hosting AQ Arts London’s Instagram bi-weekly show 'Shout: Live'. If she’s not doing that, you’ll find her crying over all the anime, book and video-game characters she’s become far too invested in. You can find her debut audiobook 'From AM to PM: poems to help you through the day' on Google Play, Apple Books, Scribd & Kobo Market. View all posts by PM
